Coldliner Express is a privately owned, family operated, temperature-controlled, truckload carrier, conducting business in the 48 continental states in the U.S. Since 2015, Coldliner Express has been dedicated to exceeding our customer, driver, and employee expectations. Our unique vision and dedicated work ethic is what makes our team successful. We have become one of the most-sought after temperature-controlled transportation services in the nation, and continue to build successful relationships with drivers, customers, and employees.
OUR HISTORY
Our company was founded by Doug Abel. Raised on a dairy farm in northeast Ohio, Doug adopted the values of hard work and a farmer’s ingenuity from a young age. At age 18, he modeled that same entrepreneurial spirit found on the farm into his own business. This effectively launched a successful career in the temperature-controlled transportation industry and has been his calling for the past 40 years. Doug saw a need in the market for transportation companies and had a knack for it, so he started Coldliner, and through his leadership, made it the company it is today.
OUR EQUIPMENT
At Coldliner Express, we operate the most modern, lightweight, and technologically advanced equipment available. Our trucks are designed to give our drivers the most comfort, reliability, and safety to deliver the highest level of service to our customers. As a matter of fact, the average age of our Peterbilt and Volvo trucks are less than 3 years old!

We work exclusively with the temperature-controlled transportation industry; hauling goods from plant to plant, or plant to store with ease and efficiency.
